Cat alerted me to something moving around in the nestbox so I grabbed the camera ................ not quite what I was expecting !

Not Posted for a while, but here's one of Curlews feeding on the Estuary and breeding on the Moors

Little fat Robin, followed us along a lane for about 1/4 of a mile on Friday whilst we were on a section on the dales way at Linton, Grassington.

Wherever I go at work I always have Robins following me, I have to chase them out of the workshop because of the mouse traps, but working in the woods I'll turn round and there will be at least one Robin either poking around or sat on a stump waiting for me to do something. Often wonder if they are following me or they are resident in that bit of wood. Talking 250/300 acre

I think theyre one of funniest, cheekiest yet most friendly of the little birds out there. Closely followed by the young blackbird, had a few tame ish blackbirds this last couple of years hanging around on the bench and table outside backdoor waiting for us to handover the mealworms. [emoji38]
