Captive bred hawks are worth £250 each...Happy to wait a couple of months for these guys to fledge, hopefully in the future they will help keep the pigeon population down...

Excellent again.  I'd be happy to see house martins, yet alone sand martins.  Where are the martins and swallows?  I've seen maybe 30 of both species combined this year.  There simply are none.  What's happened to them?

Locally we have all four, Swifts, Swallows, House Martins and Sand Martins. Although at work (In the Lakes) we only have House Martins the Swallows were a no show, well I saw one but that was never going to stay. The bad weather in early May didn't help.
