Whats the weather like near you?

Recommended Posts

UNNATURALLY Like May. Beautiful. Cut the grass and having a glass or two

Sins Dr West, sins!
Just come back from a run out through trough of bowland from Lancaster, clear views all through the valley, but very foggy looking out across to Morecambe and beyond. A few farms with new born lambs bouncing around, always a joy to see.
Sat out having a brew now in the garden and the common background noise appears to be the petrol vs electric lawnmower

Bloody ridiculous realy. We are in the depths of what should be winter and I have been working outside in a T-shirt dripping sweat! Hit 15C hear today and wall to wall sunshine. I know we get some variability in weather in the UK but seems climate change is running at full steam ahead.

You think it’ll break for the worse? My dad is adamant it wont last and says it’ll turn on us again, harshly “ever the optimist again father” i’ll reply! I’m a day by day man and what is.... is, bbc weather never gets it right just lately.

I'm not too sure about how long it will go on for.... A few years back we had an amazing Spring and then June was the wettest in 100 years. So all I can say is, enjoy it while it's here and hope no late Spring frosts come and mess it all up.

We have just had a thunderstorm and hailstones the size of marbles battering everything in the garden. Hailstones are about 3" deep everywhere flattened the lettuce and ripped all the blossom off the apple trees.hailstones.jpg.3cedac094c1bcfa04a217c7b31b1e61e.jpg
