Don't use a cheap two stroke oil then put it in at 50:1!

You don't have to use a stihl or husky two stroke just make sure it's a synthetic high performance oil, actually it may be a part synthetic, will have a check of what I use and get back to you.

As for chain oil anything really just as long as it ain't used oil of any kind. I have used the cheapest of engine oils and never found the bars and chains to have any more wear than when using anti fling oil.

Or even think about using Aspen2. It comes premixed with the oil at 50-1, contains no ethanol and will not go stale. Also much better for the operators health. Visit the Aspen link on the left of the page for more info.

Wait for it.......!

Yeah, you get a free forklift truck to pick it up and sat-nav to find your way home!! :001_tt2:

Thats a little too general as many 2t oils are semi-synthetic, a weird and pointless blend of mineral and synthetic, but nethertheless thats what they are. Some will state 50:1, others wont. Take notice of whats written on the bottle for dilution.

Beware of any that state something like "2 cycle engine oil for all 2 strokes such as mopeds, chainsaws, and outboard motors".

Cool running, water cooled outboards, need a different oil to high revving air cooled engines, so any oil labelled as above is from an ill informed supplier and should therfore be avoided
