What size of nets to use, where to get them and what to pay?

Guys i am looking to sell nets of logs from my stove shop in the north of scotland.

I have a supplier who will sell me 4 m3 of seasoned soft wood and i was hoping to bag this in nets and sell it for £4 to £4.50 a bag.

I was also looking to use an empty 25 litre drum to fill the nets. Do any of you know what size of net bag would work best with this drum? and roughly what weight / how many logs i would get in the net. I know there will be a difference in weight with hard wood vs soft wood and to a certain extent according to how dry the wood is - but just roughly so i do not make bags too heavy for customers to lift easily.

Any hints and tips you can give me would be gratefully received, as i an new to the firewood scene. It seems that i might be missing out if i do not give firewood a shot as we sell about 10 stoves a week and many of the customers are then asking straight away - were will i get my wood from.

thanks

Lee
