Is chipper dust something we should be worried about.

My sinuses  are shocking Skyhuck. That would kill me ! All dust can be lethal. And also a vector for fungal spores- 'farmers lung'- basically yr gonna die from summat someday. K

I have occ health training. Nasopharyngeal cancers are associated with wood dust. Fine hard wood the worst so soft wood chips not such a problem. I do a lot of milling and therefore my airway is a lot closer to chainsaw exhaust and so often blows the ash from the cigarette I am smoking into my eyes.

Why do you dispute what the consultant says?

Because, like all of us, they can be wrong. It is possible but unlikely his occupation could be to blame but other causes more likely

I never have a problem with laurel and I chip a lot of it.  I do hate the marzipan smell though

that was on the church ivy removal I did a few years ago, was just trying to find the pics.

Ended up burning it
