Kevin! Im using a shorter hitch, just a 5 wrap vt, and there is so much friction from the RW. Will a shoirter tether make it smoother? It is nearly unuseable at the moment.

 

Try using a recognised hitch Benn. 3 wrap 2 braid VT for example or a Knut.

 

Then if that doesn't work look at different tethers.

I like my hitch, no sit back. Im just playing with it in the house. with a loose hitch, it is very hard to pull down on the RW... Im using 11.7 yale ropes, Prism atm. I think its just a bit too fat for the RW. I wish it was adjustable like version 1!!!!

 

What ropes are yall using? 11mm? Its so frustrating climbing with it when im trying to get out on a limb and I really have to pull.
