hi people, just got myself tw150 dh a few months back so would like a bit of help on maintenance, firstly the rollers wont feed in but will go in reverse is this due to having no grease in them, it did go forward for a bit when i took it all apart but has stop dead again, also i had to jump lead the chipper when i use it as it wont charge is this due to the purple wire (corroded) i have found connected to nothing near the battery wires.

Any feedback is good feed back

Hi Hedgecutter

You seem to have multiple questions which need an answer

The roller problem is not related to lack of grease but please ensure there is enouigh grease in the roller assembly.

The roller feed problem sound like an electrical condition I would suggest that you check the forward latch relay base for good contact on the wiring together with ALL of the switches, paying attention to the safety bar switch as all switches are linked for safety purposes.

The purple wire is not used in a DHB machine but is used in a track machine.

If your battery is not charging it needs to be checked out to see if any of the cells are not damaged, it can be checked by a local garage or battery supplier, and check that the battery cables are clean and tight.

Have attached a copy of the wiring diagram for a 150 DHB machine to assist you but if you need further help you can call the help line on 01449 765820, if you call in we will need the serial number of the machine to enable us to look up all the details.

Hope this helps

Hello Hedgecutter.

Sorry to hear you are still encountering problems

The top and bottom rollers close together to allow all thickness of logs to be pulled in, and I assume from your post that up until recently thay have been working correct.

Check the slider surfaces are kept greased and all the fixings are tight, also check nothing has become loose in that area.

If you cant find the problem give Timberwolf Technical a call on 01449 765820 with your machine model and serial number, they will help you find the problem or alternatively take the machine to your nearest Timberwolf dealer which can be found on the Timberwolf website.
