I like your new truck lots. Great set of pics too. I take it you are mining? What are you mining for?
Yip, Zinc and Lead is what we mine here at Tara. Its the 5th largest underground zinc mine currently operating in the world. 2.8 million tons per year extraction at about 8% combined. Its a fun place to work, especially if you like your big kit like I do,

Secretly I'd prefer to work up in a tree though. Much healthier and safer.

Nice Truck:thumbup1:

Eager to see underground green-laning pics as well:biggrin:

What is the gizmo near the ignition, in the fifth pic?

Big T is right - I'll get a few pictures sorted next time Im 'down pit'

Gizmo looks like an hour meter.

Decided to do a wee video drive experience instead, easier then pictures, as they generally turn out quite badly in the dark and dust underground. 0800 level is about 800m vertically downstairs, not the deepest area of the mine, but not far off (0600 being the deepest to date ~ aver. temp 85fh). In this footage we climb through the main haulage access ramps/tunnels away from the main action area's i.e production and development units where all the bigger machinery works mucking, scaling, bolting, trucking etc. In there the drifts or tunnels are a little tigher, and the ground it rougher as it is a much more temp situation, usually in and out production area's in 3-6 months, thus no need for significant maintenance.

Remote control mucking would be neat to watch, I'll sort something out Im sure. Might take a while.

do you think the mine would import a few extra ones if asked as they brillent and i would say there is a market here for them in the uk & ire,

As far as I am aware, they are very hard to get, apparently our lot come in from Dubai. (only 3 or 4 a year). Trust me dude, every farmer in the place wants one as well.
