Hold on fellas

Don't just use this to have a go at your employer

He/She has got a hell of a situation

Trying to keep you busy employed but all the time trying to confirm to updating legislation.

It costs a fortune to

a. pay for the ticket

b. pay for you to have a doss 3-5 days getting the ticket

Do you not understand the expense.

At the end of the day

YOU have the ticket and the employer has nothing.

YOU can leave and seek employment elsewhere with a ticket that your current employer has paid for.

If you are being disruptive then can't you see that your employer thinks you will not stay with the firm. Why should he pay for your ticket

Doh

It's hard running a business

YOU have probably never done it so YOU don't understand. If you have done it and failed then don't start rocking the boat just because you've got a chip on your shoulder

Them and us.... it's a 2 way street

Rant over...For now:sneaky2:

Your employer is liable for any damage caused by you, just get on with the job. If he wants to do things his way why worry? Unless you think you NEED CS41. If you are being asked to do things you don't feel comfortable with then that's a different issue.

me i read it and know it.

the boys i work with just do what comes to mind, not what deemed correct.

leaning tree today cut by one of them - just gobbed and back cut was 5in above, should have been a dogs tooth.

before he started i said 'that needs a boring cut, have you got a cs32?' i had to repeat 'a cs32?' 3 times till he said 'i can cut down anything me - no i havent!'

then the groundy had to push it over, standing on 4ft wall.

me ?? i had to look on in amazement because i'm just 1 day subbing.

maybe its the same everywhere - i need a new career:sneaky2:

Just needs a bit more professionalism from everybody

Testosterone males need not apply

you have some valid points,

i have a clause written into my contract that if i receive any training at an expense and leave the company with 2 years of said expense, i have to pay it back, so im not going to make a run for it,

YOU dont know what company i work for, therefore YOU have no idea of the companys income.

I dont have a "chip" on my shoulder, im merely after what i should have

If I employed you I would put you through the training

Must get employees to sign similar contracts like YOU do

I think in normal practice it's almost always un-enforceable.

Unless you are paid monthly and it comes out of that.

As an employer, I'd have to be very very careful before deducting monies from a pay packet which is deemed in law to be protected earnings. Especially deducting a fee for training which as an employer I had potentially gained a commercial advantage from you having within that two year period and which may have been legally required for you to have had to work for me.
