wondering if any body has seen nething like this before??? theres two trees that are suffering the same affliction.it almost looks like the bark has burst outwards(brings back memories of the aliens films:scared1:) the first is at grond level, which i thought could of been hit with a vehicle and then the rot set in......the second changed my opinion tho. it is near enough exactly the same but at chest hieght which kinda ruled that out. close up it almost looks like there has been wood worm in there(small bore holes every where) nebody have any insight? oh the trees in question are cherries but are roughly ten miles apart
