I have the Stihl and it seems fine for my needs.

 

Personally, I would find having an additional obstruction constantly above my head when trimming or pruning with a pole, very awkward indeed.

Fr Jones has been selling these for ages, for less money than Abbey. I have not used one but it looks well made and will do the same as the ELH although I thing the ELH will still do the job more efficiently.

 

Earlier in the thread Timbermcpherson said "it's all about bang for the buck". I'd agree with that and each man knows how he works and must make his own choice.

I find the Stihl Super Harness HORRIBLE to use. It's all wrong for me, no matter how I adjust it, and I find it puts too much weight on my lower back and restricts movement too much. However, my work mate likes it. He's weird though.
