What's on your bench today?

Got a 088 on bench again, broken chain tensioner. Need help finding the part, it's the l shape part with the lug on it. Not sure if I can weld a new lug on?

Can't upload the image from my iPad. Or don't know how.

It's the part with the lug that locates into bar. Lug has been broken off so don't have it.

If I haven't made it clear enough I will post a pic tonight.

A mates saw wasnt running as it should, sluggish & slow then hard to start & finally gave up. Gave it to me to have a play with and found he been using Carplan two stroke oil at the recommended ratio on the bottle:confused1: and probably leaving it mixed up in the can for months until its all used.

The saw is a Stihl MS180c with the carb preset sort of thing, all you can adjust is tickover:sneaky2:

It hasnt had a hard life and only used around the farm for firewood etc so probably used once a week then on the shelf for any length of time. I think the main trouble could have been poor fuel but after some nice new bits and thorough cleaning (barrel has some piston stuck to it so doing that tomorrow) & pressure checks it should be like a new saw, I just hope it runs like one

Had a farmboss on the bench not running. The high low screws were unscrewed all the way, re adjust runs like a dream, compression down a bit on 130 but for the use it will get not a major concern.

Had a solo top handle on as well, non runner, fuel lines all shot so replaced them, she runs but won't tick over well seems to hunt a bit, and dies when throttle up. Haven't adjusted screws yet as I don't know what the factory setting is for it? Anyone have an idea, make my life a bit easy instead of trying to get it for hours?

Thought i had seen it all, but this tops the lot.

Km combi with a hole in the bottom pan, could be anything. Full strip down to find that someone has welded the con rod back together. So i assume the rods snapped and punctured a hole in the pan then its been stripped and con rod welded and rebuilt hoping it will work without repairing the huge gaping hole in the engine.
