Mr Ed takes the time to speak to someone from the EA who basically tells us that all tree surgeons WILL need a license then with a bit of searching about others have came up with conflicting evidence in writing

 

Not having a go at anyone here but I think someone from the EA needs to see all of this thread and put some iron clad words on paper.

 

If there is a chance that someone from the EA or the local police can stop me, compound my truck and stop work then wtf are we supposed to do?

Lol too true, imagine the fear you would have to suffer trying to work after that.It would be a coincidence that my day rate had gone up to £700 a day while I couldnt work due to my van being compounded

The people I spoke too at EA (after speaking to loads of muppets there) assured me that the info given was the final word on the matter.

 

Really does'nt give you much faith in their competance does it?

 

I need both the licence and a paragraph 13 exemption as we are starting to recycle waste timber, but at least tree services can rest easy.
