do you have qualifications? what are you wanting to start up? a tree surgery business? do you have any idea how much vans, chippers, saws and all the other equipment costs? insurance? unless you already have a nice stack of cash then you will need to be nice to the banks anyway.

if you can do the job then thats the hardest part covered, then its a matter of marketing yourself to suit your situation. If you have no saws or ppe then you go climb for someone else, if you have that and a car but no van then you can do jobs where you just get trees on the deck, log them and leave the brash, or tie in the hire of a chipper, van etc .

Get your insurance cover straight off the bat, this can be done DD so peanuts, cards are cheap as chips, sign writing is a must i believe and then it will just snow ball from there.

but bottom line is you have to be 100% committedto serve your customers well, forget nights out, holidays and treats and just work hard. simples
