Cost of running a wood burner

By planting a coppice of Ash or Willow to gow on your own land then you are not buying it in from someone else. So you are reducing the costs of running a wood burner.

 

I was saying that my Ash whips are doing better than my willow at present, and Ash is loads better firewood than Willow.
