We are selling kindling and just wondered if £1.40 per net 65x40 was a fair price

I am paying 1.47 inc vat for my kindling nets so it sounds fair to me. But thats bulk buying by the pallet, i am retailing the said net for £4.

I am not vat registered so do not charge Vat on that. The wood is well seasoned larch and spruce.

Unless I was shifting at least a hundred a go at that price I wouldn't even bother.That's alot of cutting and splitting take out 20 odd pence for your net and it isn't worth doing selling them to domstic customers,wouldn't be nough profit.If that's a wholesale price then not to bad I'd say.

We have been selling ours for £1.50 + vat through the summer price needs to go up otherwise it wont be worth doing, the price of electric, bags and wood is going up all the time . I have a friend who is not vat registered who sells for £1.50 . Our bags sell to retail for between £3-£4
