Woven Log Bags / Sacks

Can someone please help me out here? I need to get myself 100 25kg log bags, y'know the cheap woven nylon type. I have tried the "bay" and they work out at nearly 30p each! Ouch!

If anyone has a surplus or can give me some direction i would greatly appreciate it.

Sorry. The post sounded like i wanted them for free... Happy to pay! Not 30p each tho! I can however come to some agreement with anyone in the south wales area. I have a good number of ash and blackthorn i need to fell also.

ive seen them cheaper than that on ebay, or try nets, net bags, log nets, net sacks, log bags, kindling bags, kindling nets, wood bags, firewood nets, wood nets, wood sacks, carrot nets, carrot bags, onion sacks, onion bags, pallet nets, shell fish, bags, mesh bags, mesh sacks, mono filament

I have been very impressed with Medalion, they sent me out samples of nets so that i could identify the size everyone else is selling.

 

But according to the price list i have from them a 52x85cm net (which i think is around 25k or 42L?) is £23 for 100 or £85 for 500 (.17p). + VAT of course!

 

What i have learnt about nets over the last few weeks is you need to speak in 48x78cm rather than Litres or in your case kgs.

 

If you can measure a net you have already ill let you know how much they are from medallion.

Leave one in the sun for a couple of months and you will need the dust pan and brush.

I got 100 nets off ebay last year for under £20 delivered, sorry cant remember the name though. Make sure you get the right size though, ones i got were much to big and you could hardly lift when full!!

Thanks for the replies chaps

The nets of logs i was buying were the large orange 52 x 85 variety. However they were not full to the brim and as farmer ben pointed out if they are full then they do have a lot of weight in them! I guess the next size down would be the ones to go for?? I can then live in the knowledge if the missus gets her act together she herself could go and get a bag or 2 from the store without saying she cant lift em!

We can live in hope eh??

What are the next size down? Nearly forgot to ask!
