There was also a Field Mouse (I think) that was trying to pull a banana skin under a stack of hardwood but too elusive for a pic.

This little Kestrel had been attacked and left in the grass unable to fly yet. I’ve taken him under my wing, feeding him and getting back to good health.

 

He might be  " yours " for ever .  Best fillet steak and that !

What you say is true but they have been known to drink even when in cold weather . They do like a dip as well . I thought as its so hot at the moment it would not hurt to give him the opportunity should he choose to .
