much nicer than a prussik in many ways but it does have its problems, the spring went in mine not long after I bought it so the clutch doesn't always grab when you sit back on it which keeps it interesting, and it eats up all the slack when you climb above your anchor point.

 

other than that it turns you from sloth to slightly quicker sloth in a couple of days

I recently got one and think its fantastic. It self tends when you have about 5 to 10 feet of rope below you and it is real easy to use. I would however say it is crap when dismantling the trunk but for pruning jobs its the dogs.

 

Agreed,it has spead me up no end moving about in the tree,not that I'm quick at the best of times though...:blushing::001_smile:
