husqvarna technical chainsaw trousers

Bought a pair of these on Thursday, having pretty much just worn Husky/jonsered pro-lights I was a little dubious of going for something made of stretchy material that didn't feel that tough.

A day in, and so far so good. Vents are really great, the first waft of cold air was a bit odd but over the course of the day really seemed to make a difference. Took a bit of getting used to them being a tighter fit and stretching as you move but didn't feel like they were a hindrance. Would like to have seen the thicker material taken right down to the ankles and round the back (like on the stihl ones) but can't have it all.

Just hope they last as long as the old Pro-lights

Holy thread resurrection etc... looking at my first pair of type C trousers to do Cs38/39 in on a modest budget and these don't look too bad.

Can anyone confirm these are OK to climb in for the money? Type C Oregon Yukon are cheaper but I had a pair of the type As before and the material was no different to a pair of trackie bottoms, super light and comfortable but one nick with the silky and they'd tear right open.

In a similar vain the old Stihl "duvet" chaps i had from many years ago have succumbed to mouse bedding 😒 will stop a saw but not a raunchy rodent....😬 They also had a good go at the gloves and boots stored in the same bag.... I dont use a saw often and only on the ground (i was never a great tree climber even in my youth)  I have recently acquired an MS250 to get on with some long overdue garden clearing and to cut some logs. What is the best trouser option for those of us whose girth is greater than our draught ie waist larger then inside leg (considering bib an braces style to complete the umpa lumpa look!)
