I use Wells Lamont leather gloves, very comfortable and hard wearing. Only downside it when wet they can be slippy and then they dry hard. I was buying them at Costco for about £16 for three pair but bought the last lot cheaper off e-bay. They also do a fleece lined one for winter but not tried this type yet.

Thanks's I was looking for something that would give protection as well.

If you mean chainsaw protection, then 'chainsaw gloves' provide almost non excistant protection. Which chainsaw gloves are currently under review as essential protection. You would do better to worry about HAV as that will definatly have a long term adverse effect on your health. Any good leather glove will help to reduce the amount of vibration you recieve, or if it is wet the rubber gripper glove.
