i skate (board) as much as time allows and when i'm not knackered from work (so not much!). i got into it about 12 years ago, got quite good and then found other things (you know). i now have a board with carbon fibre inserts inside the wood ply so i don't snap the board (im just over 14st now, not fat, just 6'4")

that was the closest i ever got to a half pipe. deprived or what?!

this one's for you steve - me a few years ago on a mini ramp made from pallets and flexible tracking!

Nah, not enough days in the week. Time off from work = time with the wife and kids. Miss it though. Was a massive part of my life and enabled me to travel around the whole country(and abroad) at quite a young age on a regular basis.

I skated for 9 years but stopped when I was 22. Started snowboarding about 14 years ago and occasionally think about getting a skateboard again.

Used to build miniramps with a lot of mates and used to ride around the north east quire a bit. Had some wicked sessions at Washington nr Newcastle and in Darlington.

One of my old mates has owned and run this place for years.

a good mate of mine skated until he was about 20 or so then gave it up. after much persuasion he got another board at 30 and now regularly gets out on it and loves it. if he's not at a skatepark he's at his allotment though so i guess that evens it out!
