[Andy, they're only for light entertainment mate, anything else would have to be far better structured and explained. I hear Beranek is working on a series of instructional DVDs, hopefully one of our retailers will jump on it and make them available for us all.

 

Reg, I wasn't looking for an instructional vid, (though i would of course be interested in watching one). I was just saying that it would also be interesting to see some footage of you rigging in your vids. People use different methods, and as Arbtalk shows, any exchange of working methods can benefit everone. An example was in your ash tree vid, with the floating pully system.

In any case, keep posting the vids, and i'll keep watching them. Its a pleasure to see you work:thumbup1:

Darin, yeah they shouldn't have ran under until I'd given them the all clear, but they're not regulars you see.

 

Also, that branch had been shortened sometime in the past so it wasn't as long as it appeared and would have only skimmed him anyway:sneaky2:

 

That would have given them a thrill. I hate it when guys run under while I am still cutting. I am not above throwing the occasional pine cone to get someone's attention.

Another great video, A joy to watch, Just wondering though, One of your groundies standing in the road controlling traffic, Where's his hi-vis? Correct me if i'm wrong but that aint legal, If there were some sort of accident involving traffic, Wouldn't you be in trouble?
