Reduced leaf mass

Also the fact it seems to be affecting the plums, apples and cherrys mainly.

Could it be silver leaf or something similar?

Are there small holes in the leaves?

Marc, from what i could see, the leaf that is there appears to be full size, healthy with no holes, just reduced numbers of leaves. That is with the exception of one cherry with discolouration.

This may well be a laughable suggestion, but have you had a lot of high winds there? Or is it in a bit of a wind tunnel?

Just a thought - it could explain the difference in leaf cover between the lower lying shrubs and the taller broadleaf trees...

One of the plums is well away from any of the landscaping. There is also another in a neighbours garden that is suffering, that obviously hasn`t been disturbed.

Your comments are all valued. I`m baffled!

It would be nice to give the customer some feedback.

It seems the common factor is fruit trees, can't be that many problems that affect fruit trees and cause these symptoms, can there?

I have no idea but would like to know.
