arb wife cooking

I first worked away in Ireland whe I was 17 my father give me the big speech about mucking in with cooking when your away with the lads showed me some recipes etc. I was quite worried about it when I got there we survived on pizzas and beer:001_rolleyes: the only time we tried to cook I tried my dads sausage casserol and it was too thin so we tried thickening it up with milk :lol:

to be honest tom,i dont mind a bit of cooking:thumbup1:

i will cook the xmas dinner for me,the wife and 2 kids and the dog and chickens will have the left overs:blushing:

 

Yep i enjoy it when i have the time, usually its abit of a rush though.

 

Xmas/roast dinners got to be one of the easiest meals to knock up. Write out your timings on everything then just put it in as and when. Cant go wrong really :thumbup1:

 

always tastes better when cooked yourself to :thumbup:

im afraid i do the cooking in my house does anyone cook on there log burner? i have a clearwiew i cooked a suet pudding today on mine pice of p to do 3 cups of sr flour cup of suet, add water mix it put into a cloth tie the top place into boiling water 50 min jobs a goodun. o it all to me mum farmers wife

 

THE FARMERS WIFE,IS THE BEST COOK IN THE WORLD

when i was a kid[many moons]we use to help with the hay and potatoes on the local farms and at the end of the day the farmers wife would put up a awesome bit of grub:001_tt2:

Aye was my mates bright idea haha didn't taste the best:lol: after that though the foot and mouth took off ( not because of our casserole) and we got moved into the town and the only hotel was 4 star and we lived there for a month food bill paid for by gaffer good times

Cheese and ham sandwich in tin foil placed on the exhaust for 5 mins before break is getting me through the day at the moment, I have to make them myself as bird has got a habit of putting coleslaw in them :thumbdown:

 

If you cant smell burning its salad for T

 

you can get one of those cheese and ham in a hot food vending machine in a local hospital to me,2 slices bread,a bit of cheese and ham £2:confused1:

Haha my lass is a gem to be fair toad in the hole last night loved it and she always cooks extra puddings for after:thumbup:

 

I get in from work and talk garbage to the boys while she makes tea.

Builders wife, does three roast meals aweek,sausage egg chips,curry,chillie,and this friday steak chips and all the bits,sandwiches all done everyday,thats y im 6' 14.5 stone

of lean mean building machine!

 

i think i am going to move into the building trade:lol:
