L200 Tipper, good idea or not?

They get the extra load by fitting a very flimsy tipper. The ranger does seem to suffer alot of faults especially gear selection when hot.

 

Thats incorrect its the same body as a new transit just smaller,the sides, steel floor and under frame are strong and the ram is more than adequate, also I've drove my Ranger all around Central London loads of times towing a big 4 gun compressor, I drove it to Scotland and back, and not once have I had gearbox problems, have you owned/used a Ranger for any amount of time?

My preference is for the hilux yours for the ranger. I fell out with ford over a new transit many years ago and vowed never to return and I wont. My mate two doors down has a ranger double cab 55 plate and wont be buying another. I think he was unlucky and got a friday afternoon job like I did. Glad your happy with yours.
