Seasoning chestnut- quickest way?

Hi all

Just took down 1/4 acre of chestnut coppice to give a customer a view. Good timber already gone as posts. I then stacked the bendy timber in 10' lengths with the digger. Was just wondering how quickest to season it? No substitute for splitting each length, I know, but would scoring the bark with the saw have a similar effect?

Alternatively, does anyone know anywhere I can hire a cone splitter for the digger?

Thanks!
