Hi David the tree had 9 Noctule bats in it, we used a large log and cut it too size then used ratchet straps to hold it in place, i will add some more pics when i get time to resize them.....

 

the mewp is a lionlift 18m tracked, very useful when doing various bat surveys and works...

yes it comes in handy, i still like doing it from climbing when i can but doing it from the mewp makes it so easy....
