Should have got a pic of the firewood guy and his trailer today -that thing would have struggled with just one ring off those two trees! I've used bigger wheelbarrows!

Was the initial shape due to storm damage?

 

Henley way?

The tree had lost it's two main leaders some time ago. It could have been storm damage and/or an structural weakness, I cannot say for sure. Yes, it is in Henley.

A couple from today. Pop re-pollard and a Syc to thin out, Arbtalks very own DannyT did the Syc and his boss Bill, Did the pop. I subbed in to ground for them. Nothing special really but im curious to see what the Iphone camera is like, So thought while they are on the PC id stick em up. Oh and before people say the Syc's upper crown should have been thinned more, It was, I just didnt get a shot of the finished tree, I forgot :blushing::biggrin:

The lower crown should have been thinned less I think Liam :sneaky2::001_tongue:

 

We wanted too, Danny did a nice job on it the first time BUT the customer gets what the customer wants "Can you take abit more off, Abit more, Just abit more, Thats it"
