7.5 ton Lorry

Hi there .

 

I am looking for some advice on buying a 7.5 ton lorry for my tree surgery business .

 

I have heard many mixed reviews about diffrent models and types .

 

I would be intrested in any advice and opnions people have .

Merc 814 4x4 or newer model if price is no object. Most are ex council or utilities

why are they crap ,?..

No air brakes, when there loaded the brakes cook, we have the crew cabs the engine noise and heat is annoying generally poor build quality.

So wish we had mercs the company run a fleet of them for another contract there much better but probaly much more money wise

Daf every time if you can find them, but how much do you intend to spend. New or 2nd hand.

If you do go for the Merc try to find an 817
