Hi

What do all do with your sawdust. We have a big Stenner 41 bandsaw for milling and it makes a lot of dust. It all goes through an extractor where its bagged up.

However we just cant get rid of it is there a machine that can turn it into something useful pelets, fire bricks? Or is there someone to sell it to?

Thanks

Andy

Try local farmers with stock, by law the trailers they move them in need dust in. They even buy it if they get short!

If its really clean a dairy farm with take as much as you can give, but they are tight on what they will or will not take.

some farmers will also take it to use as a soil improver. they just mix it in with the muck for spreading. or use it as bedding (chip rather than dust) especially now as barley straw prices are going up and up
