Had some bad news yesterday, was diagnosed with testicular cancer. I found a small lump on my left testicle just over 2 months ago, I went straight to my gp, who said it was just a cyst and sent me for a scan to make sure.

I had to wait 6 weeks for a scan, by which time the lump had trebbled in size and was painful, especially in my harness. The scan revealed a lump and swelling and my GP said it was just an infection, gave me antibiotics and sent me to see a urologist (specialist) for a second opinion. Inbetween times i had terrible pains and had to go to A&E. They managed to get me an appointment with the speciallist a week earlier and i was told to cancel my holiday (which i should be on now), to Majorca.

Saw the specialist yesterday, who examined and scanned me, he told me i had cancer and sent me for another scan and blood tests. On the way home i had a call asking me to come in for an operation monday 20th. Good news I suppose that im going to be fitted in quick, but very scary!

So please fellas, dont neglect your balls, have a good look next time you're in the bath/shower and make sure you visit your doctor. My lump was tiny when i found it and grew very fast (4 times the size of other side!), but when I think back it always seemed to be my left ball that used to hurt in my harness on and off ages before i had spotted anything.
