I tried what you showed me but it's probably down to my technique plus the fact that you weigh 3 stone wet thru as oppose to my 15 stone.

 

I'm using 13mm yale splice eye which explains why it wont fit thru the roller bridge. I will have to retrieve with the other end then.

 

Need to organise a day down in my wood pete, could get a few together, some nice big climbing trees down there.

Yeh, course you can, I've heard the Huddersfield lot are a set of slack arses and need re-training.

 

I thought you'd have had enough of Bradley wood anyway. Last time you were there a Tree attacked you and put you in hospital didn't it.

after reading this thread i noticed in one of pete mctrees photos the hitch attached to the lowest point and the eye in the middle,i was using it with the hitch in the middle and eye in the top swapped them points around and using a smaller isc krab ive had no problems with the hitch being held open with krab since!

That's very good of you my friend but I won a hitch climber in the video competition, also two Petzl biners and a Ocean polyester hitch cord.
