Help finding a Transit Tipper

With crew cabs try loading it and then weighing the individual axle’s rather than the gross. You can quite easily be into overload and points on the back axle without going over the gross.

Don’t forget to allow a little for the chipper nose weight.

If you get stopped in a weight check they will probably check axle weights.

i still think you are buying an abused one at £3.5k for a crew cab, why does it have to be a crew cab is it for transporting men or tools in the back section?

Because you will get a better buy going for a single cab and a toolbox fitted if you dont need the extra seats.

Good luck though as this aint the best time to buy a pickup, as everyone selling knows it is going to earn its keep straight away so the prices tend to be a bit higher.

I am sure you meant that the vehicle can only legally weigh 3500kg when fully loaded.

In order to carry 3500kg you would need to be in the seven and a half tonner range.
