Stay well away from Mercedes! Their customer service is shocking

I'd go transit good reliable and British!!!

Re leaders what they are saying does make sense but you shouldn't have to pay more for it

Sinse when has Ford been british???? Toyota's are made here don't make em British. Also there have been quite a few issues with newer tranny's fuel injection pumps, duel mass flywheels and starter motors but to name a few, there no better than anything else on the market at the moment, hold there price well but thats it.

IMO uprated springs are pointless, at the end of the day its still a 3.5t vehicle. They also stop the axle articulating on rough ground, you often find yourself with one wheel off the ground when manouvering just because the axle wont dip into a pothole. One wheel off the ground plus chipper on the back = stuck.

I love my transit always loved them they good work horses and drive like a car IMO don't know much about the fuel problems as someone said and with the clutch problems think rupe posted on here you can get the kits to make them old style a lot cheaper. I know plenty people who swear by ivecos but they don't do the graft we do just carry a few shovels and stuff about

Hi all.

Right have done the deal (subject to fiance agreement) on the transit.

I got him to do the springs for £300, which are what he gets the kit in for at cost, him fitting for free, another £200 extra for my px and £750 off the truck list price.

SO i dont feel i did too bad.

Cheers for all your input.

Jose
