im gonna start chucking all my fungi pics in here instead of raiding other peoples threads...

Good on ya, and its never considered raiding anothers thread! I just think your due your own kiddo, you got some good stuff there, Suggest the trametes is iether T gibbosa or at a push T suaveolens, though not really "dished" enough for the latter

i was 50/50 hirsuta/gibbosa, so your probably right.

Trametes hirsutum, of the three kin is more banded or zoned, and slightly pubescent, tends to be a little thinner in profile too.

 

these three can be hard to seperate at first.

i know this might involve quite alot of typing but it would be so cool to have a brief understanding of the characteristics of each fungus i.e what species are susceptible to and what types of attack is expected.cheers

Great, another thread for me to chuck fungi pics on!

 

This dessicated thing is 2m up on an old oak, there was a another bracket at the base and one higher up. I'm not entirely sure, but looking at the general shape and form, thought it was Laetiporus, but don't have anything to compare it with.
