Thanks guys, been really naffed off by all this. Think it's someone who has been watching the car for a while down the road, could not possibly say as the police have told me NOT to but the police have done nothing about it.??

Because they cut the middle bit out and damaged the other two bits front and rear, I have got to pay for a new exhaust. £300 and i have to pay my £100 excess. Have only just got in after subbing for someone else for some extra cash.

 

I have no power in the car and do not want to damage the engine. Parts hopefully arrive tomorrow.

Last time the scrap price was “good” there was a huge rash of cat nicking, there are 3 wheel pipe cutters on the market that don’t need to do a complete turn of the pipe and make nicking cats quick and quiet. 4x4 cats are bigger than most and the ground clearance makes them easier to get to making it easy money for the scrotes.

 

Our mobile tool dealer told me he couldn’t get enough 3 wheel pipe cutters to sell.

 

I spent a while welding 6mm square bar to the length of cat systems to make them immune to the cutters.

Thanks for the advice. Will have a word with a mate of mine and get some defensive armour fitted as I think the scum will try again, once I've fitted a brand new one.

Not only have they stolen your "Cat" someone has written "Tree Warrior" on the Door of your wagon!Thats almost worse then "GAY" written in Pink under a Rainbow with Dolphins jumping over it.

One of the guys i freelance to, had the same done to his transit. It was sat on a mates drive and they did the same with a pipe cutter. Not cheap.
