So ever since 2022 I wanted to start a tree removal business. I am studying to take my ISA certification test. I work in a sheet metal shop off and on for a friend and also work in the hvac field as a apprentice for about two years off and on. Lets just say it's not working out very well, working rate wise.on the hvac field my Dad doesn't work everyday and since I work at a  hourly rate it's hurting me financially. I have done tree removals for family and friends big and small. They said my work is good and I do it well, from that its giving me more confidence that I could start a small business hopefully within next year. I have small, medium, and large chainsaws a pickup truck and a medium small trailer aswell as Tree climbing gear. I haven't climbed alot and a couple years but I have continued the use chainsaws somewhat regularly. I love the work, I can be beat to a pulp and still get up the next morning with a smile on my face and do it all again. Hvac I'm finding as I work in it, the pay can be good but I dont enjoy any of it. Just so you know I'm 22 years old just got done with hvac tech school and graduated as a technician because I feel somewhat pressured by my family to take my dads business over but i just can't bring my heart to like it. I also did half a year in automotive tech school aswell.  I have many certifications, epa ,osha, and ase ones aswell if that matters. I have never worked for a tree removal company I am all self taught. I'm planning on doing only small tree jobs when I get my business up and running so I don't exert my skill level and possibility hurt myself or others. Any tips would be extremely appreciated.

Back in 2022 (when you were 18) you described yourself as an ‘old school tree climber’

I guess you could have meant you use old school techniques but on the basis of that, I’m rather dubious about your story.

Forgive my poor writing back then. I ment my climbing techniques. I hope I didn't say anything making myself look bigger than I actually am. If so, I need to slap my younger self lol.
