Hey folks,

I have an Ifor Williams 2515 that blows fuses when i use the ‘trailer down’ button on the hand remote.

Doesn’t happen every time but regular enough for me to revert to the manual release button instead.

Things that i have noted is the release valve has to be held open to allow the trailer bed to drop, there is no pull out and leave option. Don’t know if that is a thing on this year/model or not?

No obvious cable damage.

Replaced main solenoid but no difference.

Really great if one of you fine people have some ideas i can try out?

Cheers

Rich

Sounds like it has to be a shorted wire, I've recently had to rewire the plug on my tipper remote as the wires had broken just behind the screws - think you'll need to take each part apart and maybe even swap the cable - is it a coiled one?

thats a good call.  No the cable is a straight through one, no coils.

I have been trying to find a wiring diagram for the controller to see if i can iscolate the ‘Down’ wire but nothing yet.
