It's so reliable he's now having to run on fumes to introduce a bit of jeopardy into his journeys.

Disco blew a flexi brake pipe today, had to drive some 30 miles with brakes disappearing! Toyota doing okay - 30K miles on the clock now. I do have a complaint though. Right awkward to fill it up with Adblue and I gave to do that often towing 3480kg.... otherwise, it will do.

Remind me, is it the 2.8 or the 2.8 mild hybrid engine in it?  And I don’t mean the chipper.

 

I am hopefully signing for a new one next Thursday.  Just got to get the numbers right.

 

They have (or will later in the year) brought out an all electric Hilux over here.  Only 200km in summer of range and significantly less in winter and towing.  It also has only a towing capacity of 1600kg.

 

The salesman agreed they will probably sell ****************all units as it is pointless to most.

Is yours under the bonnet too? It’s the worst design ever, impossible to not spill it!

Mine is the 150hp unit, but, I'll be honest in that performance towing is a lot better than expected! 20/22 towing the lump and 30 not and with speed!

Thought u said it was poor on fuel economy ?when towing
