PERSONAL PROFILE

I am from Newbury but willing to travel to work. I am working towards getting a drivers license as soon as possible. Motivated and hardworking 19-year-old seeking to begin a career in tree surgery and arboriculture. Physically fit, reliable, and eager to learn practical outdoor skills. Experienced working in fast-paced environments and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude. Confident following instructions, working safely, and carrying out physically demanding tasks. Keen to develop hands-on experience within tree surgery and contribute to a professional and safety-focused team. I have also worked within the tree world a bit with my mum's boyfriend with fire wood and saw the tree surgery world and helped various companies while working with him move logs and load them after they have been cut down. I don't mind working in any weather at all. I'm used to working until everything is done at the end of the day no matter what time it is, no matter the time even if it's 5am in the morning till 9pm at night. I am hard working and determined to work myself up in the company and work my hardest every single day.

Have you checked the government recruitment site?

Closest one 25 miles from you at Oxford University?
Worth keeping an eye on this site for Arborist Level 2, plus the countryside worker level 2? (or horticulture?)
Also contacting your local college who provides the arborist apprenticeship as they will be in contact with employers who pay the levy and so need to recruit apprentices. So you can also contact bigger firms who have the funds to recruit apprentices such as Glendale Tree Services, or big utility Arb companies, or companies who manage the trees by railways etc. GOOD LUCK!!

We’ve introduced a new way to find and apply for an apprenticeship in England.
