Im sure that we have had a thread about this but I couldnt find it. Anywho.

I little pleasure today was popping out to the car to get the babys dummy and the smell of rain was really strong.

Had that last night walking at the community woodland after the rain. We were trying to remember what that smell is called. We couldn't think of it but I did say openspaceman will know, I remember we discussed it last year.

Simple pleasures, earlier driving up by the wind farm I saw a ewe about to birth.so we stopped and watched.

Being brought up around stock and working for years with them I've done plenty lambings myself, but to watch an experienced ewe birth twins and in no time have them both up, cleaned and suckling was lovely. Especially as the oh has more a city upbringing and watched her first lambs born.

Simple pleasure - the rapidly increasing day length. It's lovely to be getting up in full daylight again, and then having some time after dinner to go out and potter around a bit more.

Nice thread btw. Good antidote to the Pet Hates one.

We could google it, but narr. It is something to do with the rain on the soil IIRC. Whatever it is, it is nice/
