Mine is a few years older Pete but exactly the same.

 

The top 3 quarters of the tank seems to last normal and then the last 1/4 seems to be used a lot quicker and then before you know it the low fuel light comes on.

I never let my Navara get below a quater of a tank as it won't clean the DPF if there is less than a quater .

At least yours takes you right to the limit. My Navara monitors it down to just below 50 miles then it goes blank leaving you to guess the rest.

You aren’t impressing me unless you continue driving once it tells you it has zero miles left. Then it’s time to turn the ac off and slow down to 50ish….

Most the time I jump in a vehicle my wife has been using, always a nail bitting experience, driving with the needle hanging off the gauge with the range at zero
