With those twin tooth marks I'd say definitely rodent, probably rabbit or squirrel.

Too low for deer unless there's more damage higher up. I've not noticed squirrel damage at this time of year.

 

Possibly rabbit, and perhaps a vole? Any sign of droppings?

 

Assuming it's a back garden are there any pets about, such as rabbit or guinea pig?

It looks like astroturf so they have to wear their teeth down on  on something, beaver is the other possibility 😂
