It's rated to support ropes between 11-13mm in diameter. I use an offcut from the end of a double spliced 13mm Marlow rope and it works great. I've also used it on 10mm lines for stuff that isn't for life-support and it bites just fine. As long as you can put it on (it isn't midline attachable) you'll be fine.

TEUFELBERGER HIPSTAR FLEX has been my go too with the positioner for the last 10 years , I’ll cut a 10 meter in two as 5 m is long enough for a work position lanyard length then keep the other hank for a spare.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
