Utility Arborist Positions - Norfolk

Oakwick are looking for skilled and enthusiastic arborists to join our team in Norfolk.
Various roles available depending on experience and expertise. 
You will be responsible for tree care, maintenance, and removal, working on behalf of 
one of the Uks largest DNOs.

 

Key Responsibilities:
·    Carry out pruning, felling, and other arboricultural operations to industry standards.
·    Operate and maintain chainsaws, woodchippers, and other equipment.
·    Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
·    Collaborate with the team to deliver efficient and high-quality services.

 

Requirements:
·    Relevant qualifications (e.g., NPTC CS30, 32, 38 and 39 or LANTRA equivalents).
·    Strong work ethic and the ability to work as part of a team.
·    Commitment to safety and best practices in arboriculture.

 

Desirable Skills:
·    NPTC UA qualifications (e.g., UA1, UA2)
·    Forestry First Aid Certification.
·    Experience with MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform) operations.

National grid now do all the surveying by camera helicopter because they got ripped off by all the companies not doing any work.

It's a mess out there .....

They just send "surveyors" to get customers to sign paperwork.

Utility cutting is in a bad way .
