Rain due late morning. Going to do a small local job then see what the sky is up to.

So , back from Fratton . Derby were 2nd behind us when we both went up into the championship from league 1 . They were given enough money to buy players , we weren't .  They scored early on and thought job done . We had 21 shots at goal , numerous corners and I would say about 70% posesion. They did not look worried at all . They knew we couldn't score . The American owners of Portsmouth Football Club don't understand English football . It's just a pastime for them . I would not be surprised if  John Masinio called it a day at the end of the season . Its so disheartening .

Sadly the Pompey story feels all too familiar.  Misappropriated moneys, chairman's doing a bunk. 
It seems the  ONLY thing that keeps them going is the loyalty of the fans.

Birds are getting better. Not the full orchestra yet, but nearly.

 

Fat lad brought in a big rodent and then refused to deal with it. monkey had to get up and sort it.

Not a great start for a hump-day.
