Anyone know how belt tension pulley comes apart to change bearing, have tracked down rumbling to rough bearings.

I am assuming you mean the big pulley on the rotor shaft, its a taperloc. Drop the belts off, remove the allen headed grub screws in the pulley hub and insert them in the releasing holes, nip them up and give the pulley a light tap with a copper mallet. It should release. Dont clump the pulley on the outside edge of the v`s because it will break .

Slacken off the bolt in centre of pulley. Slacken of lock nut on tensioner bolt that sits against the square galv washer. This will take the pressure off the belts. You should then be able to remove bolt from centre of roller. There are a pair of sealed bearings that sit against the shoulder on inside of roller. If the bearings won’t drop out with a light tap drop into wife’s pre warmed cooker at about 100C (spit on the roller and it should “sizzle”, they will then knock out with a suitable sized socket. Ensure you knock bearings out squarely and ware some thick leather gloves - it’ll be hot.

That's what I thought but couldn't get centre boss to move with light tap wil give it a good hit with bigger hammer.

Or just buy completely unit and just bolt it on.

Thanks for that but, I don't need telling which way a bolt has got to be undone as I know my way around certain machines. I didn't want to knock 10 balls of shit out of a bit of steel to find out its not coming out that way
