Diseased pear tree ??

Hi
Need som urgent advice :
One of the pear trees at our home seems a bit sickly I’ve sent some photos below . Yet it’s got some buds but no leaves ??
The old apple tree next to it died a few years ago (see last photo) attached. What do you think is going on ?
Is it contagious?

is there a cure ?
This pear tree is quite old but bears great fruit right up to last year and I really want to save it.

Not sure about the hammocks and things hanging from the trees of that size, but they probably don't appreciate that too much. However from the photos you have of the pear tree, can't see much. Potentially honey fungus, have you noticed any mushrooms growing around the base at any time?
